Hands on with the Animal Ark - 16 March

Each and every student is offered the opportunity to get closer to nature. We learn together by looking, touching and holding. Animals that visit include Snowflake the blue-tongued lizard, Jet the black-headed python, Freddy the green tree frog, Shelly the snail and others. Very hands on, get that camera ready!

You also get the chance to examine an amazing range of natural artefacts from sea shells to seed pods, real skulls and bones and dinosaur pooh, fossilized (thankfully) .

Covers National Curriculum, each session can support a wide variety of topics for example reptiles, mini beasts, life cycles, classification, environment, biodiversity, wildlife conservation and evolution.

Fremantle Prison Tunnel Tour for Teens

27 November 2015

For anyone looking to mix their sense of adventure with some local history, the Fremantle Tunnel Tour offers the chance to fit both into your afternoon. The amazing network of tunnels which lies under the streets of Fremantle was built by prisoners over 120 years ago, and the best way to find out more is to pull on a funny white jumpsuit, strap on a hard hat and jump into some gumboots before making the 20 metre descent underground.
